The Centre for Advancing Responsible & Ethical Artificial Intelligence (CARE-AI) presents: A Path to the NFL – Leading a Player Health and Safety Team with Data Science

Before becoming Director, Player Health & Safety Data Management for the National Football League, Carly Fennell travelled an interesting academic and career journey with many valuable stops along the way. The combination of having hands-on lab experience, leading a growing technical team at a startup and working with global players in the athletic footwear and clothing industry has provided her with the opportunity to collect many unique insights. Shew will describe the experience that she gained and personal discoveries that she made since graduating from the Engineering program at the University of Guelph, delving deeper into the field of Data Science.
