Join us for Thriving in Action, a new online program at the University of Guelph. Thriving in Action will help you move from languishing to flourishing throughout your time in university. Build motivation, optimism and resilience, and learn how to integrate those skills into your work as a student. In each workshop, you will learn and practice both wellness and learning strategies that will help you be the student you want to be. Join us for one or all four workshops this spring and learn how to thrive. Workshops are offered online and will be delivered via Zoom. This program is offered by the Library and Student Wellness.

If you attend all four workshops, you can obtain a letter of recognition for your participation.

Workshop 1: Connections

Feeling a sense of connection is directly linked not only with positive wellbeing but with academic success. Connectedness helps reduce major risk factors that can be barriers to scholastic thriving. This workshop will support the development of connection with our very selves, with friends and family, and with our campus, as well as tapping into our shared humanity can help us with healthy decision-making, genuine intimacy, and self-compassion. This workshop is also offered on Tuesday, September 21, from 1-2:20 p.m.

Thriving in Action Workshops

Join us for one or more of the other Thriving in Action workshops. Please register for each workshop you wish to attend.
