This workshop will help participants learn about how graduate students and their supervisors typically communicate in a Canadian university. It will introduce ideas of formality, respect and power dynamics in the grad student/supervisor relationship. It will apply these ideas to the context of arranging meetings, receiving feedback and making requests.
