Open Access, Open Data, and the Tri-Agencies will explore the benefits of open access and open data, generally and in our context here at the University of Guelph. We will pay particular attention to the open access and open data requirements of the Tri-Agencies (NSERC, CIHR, SSHRC) responsible for much of the research funding at the University of Guelph.

This workshop will be interactive and questions are encouraged!

By the end of this session, you will be able to summarize the benefits of open data, and recognize the requirements of the Tri-Agencies for open access and open data.
