You are invited to join our community memorial in honour of The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, where we will mourn and remember the women killed at the L’École Polytechnique in Montreal in 1989 and women killed by femicide in 2020.

Every year, we take time to remember women who have died, reflect on the dynamic of men’s violence against women that disproportionately impacts women who belong to the BIPOC and the LGBTQ2I+ communities , and commit to our own action to end violence against women.

U of G’s SAFE (Sexual Assault Free Environment) team will host a vigil on Zoom December 7 at 1 p.m. Registration and vigil access is available via Zoom.
