Audacity is an open source, cross platform audio recording and editing tool.

Use Audacity to record and edit a voiceover for a video or a podcast. This workshop is the third workshop in the digital storytelling workshop; however, there is no requirement that you have completed the other workshops in order to participate in this one. This workshop is for anyone interested in learning about audio editing and recording with Audacity.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• List the requirements for a basic audio recording set-up.
• Record a short audio track.
• Practice basic editing tasks in Audacity to improve an audio recording.

Before this workshop, please take time to download and install Audacity onto your computer.
