ONLINE: Finding and Using OERs in the Classroom – Arts and Humanities

June 24 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Event Navigation

Looking to incorporate open educational resources (OERs) into your courses? The library is offering discipline-specific workshops focused on finding and using OERs in your classroom.

OERs are educational materials (including textbooks, modules, streaming media, simulations and much more) that are an exciting alternative to commercially published textbooks and other course materials. OERs are not only free of cost, but they are often editable and adaptable to ensure that you’re able to provide the best curricular content for your course.

You will leave this workshop with an understanding of the variety of sources and collections that exist for OERs in the Arts and Humanities, as well as several tools they can use when evaluating content for quality and relevancy.
