The Guelph Wellington Local Immigration Partnership (GWLIP), the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute, and the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences at the University of Guelph are hosting a webinar on the International Day of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. This webinar will discuss the findings and methodology of a recent study entitled “Discrimination Experienced by Immigrants, Visible Minorities, and Indigenous Peoples in Guelph and Wellington County”. This research was developed in partnership with the Network for Economic and Social Trends (NEST), Western University, and the City of Guelph. It explores the extent and context of discrimination experienced by the residents of Guelph and Wellington County with the goal of supporting the development of evidence-based anti-discrimination initiatives at the local level.
