Ever wonder what sort of data you will be dealing with? Do you find yourself lost when it’s time to prepare your data for analysis? In this workshop, you will be introduced to the different types of data you can collect and create, as well as the various ways you can collect, describe and visualize your data before data analysis. You will also be introduced to the different ways you can make inferences about your data when you’re finally ready to analyze it. This workshop is open for anyone to attend. It is intended for those who will be involved with research and/or academic projects, and want to tackle their data from the very beginning. No knowledge of any statistical software is required.
NOTE: This workshop will be held online via Zoom. You MUST have a University of Guelph email (ending in either @guelphhumber.ca or @uoguelph.ca) to register and participate in this workshop.
