Interested in using Python but don’t know where to start? Join us for a hands-on, beginner-level workshop will introduce you to the basic concepts of the world’s most popular programming language, Python. We’ll cover reading-in data from an external source followed by some simple manipulation and analysis using the built-in capabilities that are provided by base Python language.

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Explain how to read and write files
  • Generate different formatted text and code blocks
  • Write core Python scripting elements including variables and flow control structures

When you register for this workshop you are committing to attend the entire workshop unless otherwise confirmed with the instructor. If you are suddenly not able to attend, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can offer your spot to someone on our waiting list.
