Join the Art Gallery of Guelph and learn how to make a floral keychain with curator and beadwork artist, Erin Szikora (Cayuga/Scottish/Hungarian). In this 3-hour adult workshop, participants will discuss the history of Haudenosaunee beadwork, learn the basics of one-needle flat stitch beading, and create a floral keychain using size 11 seed beads, felt, and stainless-steel elements. Basic sewing skills are recommended, but not required. The registration fee is $65 and includes a kit with all the supplies required to complete the keychain that can be picked up in Guelph, Hamilton or Toronto. Space is limited, register today!
