The Improve Life Challenge: Hack the Farm is a one-day immersive experience where interdisciplinary student teams will work together with community partners to tackle real problems and come up with possible solutions. At the end of the day, student teams will present their solution in a pitch-style competition.

This year, the Improve Life Challenge is focusing on the agricultural and food industry in this current climate of change.

The agricultural and food industry is changing with aging demographics, shifting rules and regulations, advancements in technology, and pressure for sustainable business practices, to name a few of the industry’s most wicked challenges. We’re all facing these challenges together and looking for solutions. Enter the Improve Life Challenge: Hack the Farm where we intend to bring community, industry and academia together to explore these challenges and possible solutions.
