She:kon! Hello! Please join us for a short walk through The Guelph Arboretum to explore the Land and learn about the Seven Canopy Teachings brough to us by Elder Duke Redbird.

Haudenosaunee U of G Staff Member, Cara Loft, will lead a guided walk through The Arboretum to help us reconnect our spirits with the Land and to learn from the Plants. Elder Duke Redbird has provided us with an understanding on Plant teachings and how the relate to the Seven Grandfather Teachings for the Anishinaabeg people from Turtle Island (North America). Cara Loft will be opening and closing her walk with a Traditional Indigenous Handdrum Song. Remember to dress for the weather! All are welcome! Nia:wen! Thank you!
