Caribou are an iconic Canadian species, but their populations are in decline throughout Canada. Anthropogenic disturbance, environmental degradation, and climate change are among the most important drivers of declines. While caribou conservation and management practices in Canada are varied, taking a One Health approach to tackling complex conservation problems could help improve resiliency of caribou populations.
