Feb. 28 will mark the last day of Black History Month 2019. The closing ceremony will include concluding remarks, as well as feature a performance by Danielle Ponder & The Tomorrow People.

The band is the groove while Ponder’s pipes keep it rooted in soul. And according to Ponder, soul is more than a sound.
