Dr. Nikola Gradojevic

Dr. Nikola Gradojevic, professor at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, spoke to The Globe and Mail for a piece exploring how a cash-only budget could impact savings.

Cash-only budgeting can be useful for decisions about important expenses, but he warned there are inconveniences involved.

“It’s time-consuming, risky and cash may not be accepted everywhere,” he said.

Gradojevic is a professor in the Department of Economics and Finance.

He studies empirical asset pricing, market microstructure, high-frequency finance, big data, international finance, risk management, cryptocurrencies and other finance topics.
