Prof. Donald Bruce will complete his second five-year appointment as dean of the College of Arts at the end of 2016.

He will work with colleagues to produce a vision document and strategy to ensure the liberal arts remain a vital part of the University of Guelph in the face of current financial challenges.

New approaches to curriculum and pedagogy along with new partnerships and enhanced recruitment efforts will be developed to help secure the college’s future.

Any structural and/or program changes will be implemented through the University’s governance process.
