Presentation Boot Camp is for students who would like to learn more about presentation skills and strategies to use in academic settings. This half-day workshop features a series of hands-on sessions, including voice and speech clarity, audience engagement and slide design.

Carmela Laganse will discuss how many seemingly innocuous everyday objects are entangled in histories of colonization and violence. Touching on the differences between objects in representation and objects in use, the artist will explore how the incorporation of three-dimensional forms in her practice asserts that objects have an agency that impacts our engagement with them.
