Wednesday Noon-Hour Walks in Arboretum

Nature is known for being unpredictable and unexpected, so what awaits us today? Jason Chan (Ext. 53615), the Arboretum's naturalist intern, will lead walks every Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. from January through April (hikes may be cancelled due to inclement weather). Location: Arboretum Centre, Kiosk Campus Entrance

Nominations Open for Senate and Board of Governors

Nominations to the University of Guelph Senate and Board of Governors open Jan. 23 and will be accepted until Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. Elections will be held from Feb. 13 to 16. Visit the University Secretariat’s website for more information and nomination forms.

Guelph Organic Conference and Trade Show

This event is a leading Canadian forum where farmers and consumers can discuss issues affecting the national organic sector. Try organic food samples, attend workshops, meet organic growers, gardeners and researchers, discuss consumer issues, and learn more about permaculture and greenhouses. Places of Worship Tour With Multi-Faith Resource Team

Are you interested in other cultures and religions? Join the Multi-Faith Resource Team for a Places of Worship Tour and visit three different religious centres in one day. We'll visit the Ismaili Muslim Centre, the BAPS Hindu temple and the Dixie Gurdwara. Participants will have the opportunity to explore each of these places of worship

Winter Landscape Photography Workshop

Photographer Sylvia Galbraith will host a discussion and presentation on the unique challenges of winter photography. Dress warmly and bring a tripod if possible. All skill levels and film or digital camera users are welcome. This program is highly recommended for those who love the outdoors and for artists who take reference photos. The early bird fee
