The synergy between plants, the environment, and human health profoundly impacts our planet’s wellness. Immersion in plant sanctuaries and forests is revered for reducing stress and improving mental and physical health, fostering a sense of inner peace, tranquility, and happiness. Yoga powerfully connects us with nature, blending its healing capabilities with serenity and transforming our perspective toward plants, enhancing our joy, respect for nature, and overall well-being. Unfortunately, changing climates continue to erode valuable plants essential for humanity’s food, medicine, and spiritual traditions, making the conservation of plant biodiversity urgent and imperative. Let us save what we can while we can.
Snacks and Lunch will be provided. Please bring walking shoes, a yoga mat and a water bottle.
This workshop is presented by the U of G Yoga and Meditation Collective in collaboration with The Arboretum, U of G and sponsored by the Wellness@Work, U of G.
