Join us at the Art Gallery of Guelph as AGG Director Shauna McCabe and artist/educator Pearl Van Geest offer a talk and tour of the exhibitions Creative Dissent and Mary Kelly: To Witness the Future.

Emerging from Mary Kelly’s long engagement with activist movements, To Witness the Future brings together the artist’s recent work in forms including video, light box photographs, and her signature lint “paintings.” Creative Dissent expands on this exploration of the visual culture of protest, focusing on a diversity of textile-based work created in and through mobilization, participation, and action.
