The Students in Graduate Mathematics and Statistics (SIGMAS) Club invites you to attend our Time to Pride! 2022 Pride Month Panel Discussion. This panel discussion will complement our Instagram Spotlight Series by continuing to highlight LGBTQ2SIA+ individuals working in STEM fields. This discussion focuses on the intersection of identity and STEM, including topics such as what is means to be an LGBTQ2SIA+ individual in STEM, how we can be better allies to LGBTQ2SIA+ individuals in STEM, and the many ways that LGBTQ2SIA+ identities enrich our lives. Our stellar line-up of panellists includes:

  • Thomas Sasso (He/They), Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics
  • Dr. Daniel Gillis (He/Him/His), School of Computer Science
  • Victoria Leaker (She/They), Department of Physics
  • Kat Nolan (She/They), Integrative Biology

Join us on June 29 in RICH 2529 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. to attend this discussion and enjoy complimentary food and drinks! Registration is FREE and open to all students, faculty, and staff across U of G.
