Let us Celebrate Fall Equinox Yoga on Sep 24 at Johnston Green with the U of G community!
If possible, please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the CSA Food Bank.
Dear Friends of the U of G Yoga and Meditation Collective,
How can we achieve a still mind amid the chaos of a new school year? Where do we turn to access the voice of our deepest wisdom?
Take a break and join us for a fresh, fall breeze Classical Yoga class (FREE) on U of G’s beautiful, historic, sprawling Johnston Green, on Tuesday, September 24 at noon. As we harvest the fruits of summer, the natural world begins to fall away in preparation for renewal. At this moment, we invite you to turn toward the light (inner sun) within us as the physical light outside starts waning. Harmony, balance, and the opportunity to let go of what no longer serves us are the offerings of the equinox and our practice.
Note: Try not to eat at least one hour before your yoga practice.
All abilities and ages are welcome to participate. Chairs will be provided. The event is open to all – staff, faculty, students, alumni, and visitors.
Remember to bring your yoga mat and water bottle! Bring your own nutritious lunch, practice mindful eating, and have friendly conversations after the class.
This event is sponsored by Wellness@Work at U of G and hosted by the U of G Yoga and Meditation Collective and the U of G Yoga Club.
We are looking forward to welcoming you!
We wish you all a successful Fall Semester in mind, body, and spirit.
