The Presidential Selection Committee oversees the search for U of G’s ninth President and Vice-Chancellor. As it develops a position profile for the next President, the Committee is seeking input from the University community. All community members are invited to share their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges the University will face during the next five years, and what kind of leader is needed to navigate this future.

Members of the Presidential Selection Committee and search consultants from Odgers Berndtson will be available to engage with the University community directly during the following forums:

  • Student Focused Session:
    Wed. Nov. 13 | 5 – 6:00 p.m. | McLaughlin Library Room 246B
  • Faculty and Staff Focused Session:
    Thurs. Nov. 14 | noon to 1:00 p.m. | McLaughlin Library Room 246B

The student and staff/faculty sessions are intended to help facilitate discussion around common themes. Members of the University community are welcome to attend either forum.

Presidential search forums will also be organized for the Ridgetown campus and the University of Guelph-Humber. Details about these forums will be shared directly with those communities.

You may also submit feedback anytime via the Committee’s confidential email: universityappts@uoguelph.ca
