Join us for Thriving in Action: Mindfulness and the Present Moment. Explore how to be in and make the most of the present moment. Learn how to plan and become more attentive, all from a mindful approach. Presentness can help to see things more clearly, gain perspective, feel grounded, and excel. The art of attentiveness can help you to pay attention to yourself and what is around you and can be directly transferred to becoming a thriving student. Presentness and Attentiveness will be explored along with academic strategies for planning and notetaking.
Thriving in Action is a new online program at the University of Guelph. Thriving in Action will help you move from languishing to flourishing throughout your time in university. Build motivation, optimism and resilience, and learn how to integrate those skills into your work as a student. In each workshop, you will learn and practice both wellness and learning strategies that will help you be the student you want to be.
