Wildlife Pathologist Dr. Brian Stevens will explore the concept and importance of wildlife disease surveillance, highlighting the role of the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative (CWHC), the organization responsible for leading this work in Canada. He will also examine the connection between wildlife disease surveillance and the One Health approach, using examples of disease to illustrate how surveillance supports One Health outcomes.
