Join us in front of the University Centre at 10:30 a.m. for short remarks and the raising of the Métis flag in recognition of Louis Riel Day. Although Louis Riel Day marks the execution of Louis Riel, commemorating one of the great tragedies in Canadian history, it is also a day to celebrate Métis culture, recognize the many contributions of the Métis to Canada, and to highlight the struggles that many Métis continue to face.

All students, staff and faculty are welcome.
