The Entomological Society of Ontario (ESO) is holding its 154th  annual conference at the University of Guelph Sept. 29 to Oct. 1. Associated with the full ESO Conference are three free events on Sept. 30. Register by Sept 27. for these great sessions.

• Plenary session panel – Three renowned scientists highlight their research with insects. Peter Clark Hall, University Centre, 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m.
• Outdoor bug hunt at the Arboretum – Ages 5 to 85 welcome.  Tours depart the J.C. Taylor Nature Center at 2:00 & 3:30 p.m. and last one hour each.
• Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory – Free admission and tours. Tours start at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
