The annual Frosty Mug hockey game is a chance for students, faculty, staff and alumni to connect and cheer on the Guelph Gryphons men’s varsity hockey team. Enjoy an outstanding fan experience and see some of the best hockey in the area! More than 30 former Canadian Hockey League players (OHL, WHL and QMJHL) will take the ice for a match-up that’s sure to thrill!

The game takes place off campus, in the heart of the city. This annual winter event is popular with both the U of G student body and the Guelph community.

Gryphon Athletics provides a limited number of free tickets to the six associations that have worked with the Gryphons to create Junior Gryphon partnerships (Guelph Minor Hockey Association, Guelph Girls Hockey Association, Guelph Minor Football Association, Guelph Youth Basketball Association, Guelph Soccer and Guelph Youth Volleyball).
