Let’s get some work done in a virtual community! These online meet-ups will bring English language learners together on Friday mornings in July and early August. At each meeting, we will start with a short lesson on writing tips, do a writing warm-up activity, share our goals, and work on our writing projects independently.

• Dates: July 12, 19, 26, August 2
• Time: 9:30 a.m. to noon
• Schedule:
  • 9:30 to 10 a.m.: Short lesson on an academic writing skill
  • 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.: Writing warm up and goal sharing
  • 10:30 a.m. to noon: Focused writing time

After registering for this event, you will be invited to join an Academic Support Community for English language learners on Microsoft Teams. Writing and Learning Services staff will post regular updates about events to the group. You can also use the group to make friends and connections.
