Join the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics for a panel discussion featuring four First Nations Chiefs discussing their assessment of the opportunities and constraints facing First Nations with respect to economic growth.

Featuring Honoured Guests:

  • Grand Chief Abram Benedict (Mohawk Council of Akwesasne) -Chief Ava Hill (Six Nations of the Grand River)
  • Grand Chief Patrick Madahbee (Anishinabek Nation)
  • Deputy Grand Chief Gordon Peters (Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians)

The panel is an opportunity for students, faculty, and the public to gain greater insight into issues of contemporary and historic importance from the perspective of First Nations leaders.
