SPSS is a statistical software package, used in various disciplines. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce students to the software as well as its different functions and commands.
The basics of statistical analysis and interpretation using SPSS will be covered, in addition to topics like data entry, manipulation and interpretation.

This is an introductory workshop intended for students with minimal to no knowledge of SPSS. Basic knowledge and understanding of statistics would be a great asset.

This workshop is offered in two parts. If you would like to build on the skills from this workshop, attend the afternoon session as well!

Please bring a laptop for your own use during the workshop with SPSS installed on it. The latest version of SPSS can be downloaded for free from the CCS Software Distribution website.

Please note: All software installation must be done before the workshop, please ensure that you followed any account creation or software installation instructions. Out of courtesy to the class we will not be able to troubleshoot software set up during class time.
