Justine will explore how innovation and technology in the agri-food sector are tackling global challenges like climate change and food security. Learn from a visionary leader with a unique background in sustainability and business transformation and discover the unique and fast-paced careers opportunities in agri-food. The lecture titled “Agriculture and Food: Careers to Solve Global Challenges” will showcase how students and professionals in agri-food can help shape a sustainable and resilient food future.
Exclusive student career networking session: U of G students are invited to attend an exclusive networking session with Justine and her FCC team, following her talk. Explore careers in FCC and connect with OAC alumni and managers. The networking session is from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
About Justine Hendricks: In January 2023, Justine was appointed to serve as Farm Credit Canada (FCC)’s president and CEO after 17 years with Export Development Canada (EDC) and 7 years with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). She is FCC’s first woman and person of colour to serve in that role. She is an energetic and impactful leader whose known for her ambition and down-to-earth style. Justine earned an MBA from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Carleton University.
