The University’s normal business operations will be reduced on Tuesday, July 1 for Canada Day (the University remains open on Monday, June 30).
Normal operations resume Wednesday, July 2.
What’s open
Service areas open on Tuesday, July 1 include:
- Athletics Centre
- Reduced hours
- University Centre (excluding Chef’s Hall, Brass Taps and The Lookout Patio + Grad Lounge)
- Main floor is open
- Ontario Veterinary College Health Sciences Centre, including the Companion Animal and Large Animal Clinics and the Farm Service Clinic
- Emergency referrals only
- Smith Lane Animal Hospital
- Hospital is closed. For after-hours emergencies during the holiday period, please call 519-823-8830 for further instructions on obtaining emergency care.
- Animal Health Lab
- AHL will have routine Saturday service.
- On Tuesday, July 1, the laboratory is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive samples only (no testing performed). Sample drop-off in vestibule is available 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The Arboretum
- Grounds are open, buildings are closed
- Residence Desks – East Desk is open 24/7
What’s closed
- All Hospitality Services locations will be closed on July 1, reopening on Wednesday, July 2.
- The McLaughlin Library is closed on Tuesday, July 1.
