On a warm, drizzly, cloudy day, approximately 200 gathered to participate in the annual Campus Mile on Oct. 1 over the lunch hour. Umbrellas in hand, the crowd squatted and lunged to warm up for the mile loop around campus.

After winding their way through the University guided by helpful volunteers in blue shirts, the group came back to Johnston Green to enjoy some healthy food, win prizes by spinning the prize wheel, and enter the draw to win a parking pass. Congratulations to Kelly Lisle Spivac from Alumni Affairs and Development who won the parking pass draw!

A huge thank you to the Wellness@Work Programming Committee and all the Wellness@Work volunteers that made this walk, run, or roll happen.

See photos of the fun below, and don’t forget to check out the other health promotion programming planned for Healthy Workplace Month through the October calendar on the Healthy Workplace Month web page.
