We deeply regret the stress and inconvenience caused by today’s payroll delay. We understand timely compensation is essential and we sincerely apologize for any hardship this may be causing.
A cross-functional team within the University is continuing to work towards a resolution and, together with our bank, has made positive progress in the last hour. Progress is such that we hope to have resolution early this afternoon, at which time we will update our employees again.
Our goal continues to be that all employees are paid through a direct deposit today. However, if that is not the case, we will implement mitigation strategies to ensure employees are paid by the end of the day tomorrow at the latest.
Please continue to monitor your U of G email for updates as we will share information as soon as it becomes available.
