Better Homes and Gardens looked to the expertise of interpretive biologist Chris Earley this week for a piece that shares tips on how to attract bluebirds to your yard.

Earley provided insight on a list of 11 tips, saying, “Bluebirds are cavity nesters, so building a bird box and putting it up in your yard might attract them during the nesting season.”

Earley is an adjunct professor in the Department of Integrative Biology in the College of Biological Science and the writer of multiple books and field guides.

As an interpretive biologist and education coordinator, he helps visitors discover and explore The Arboretum and teaches a variety of workshops on topics such as birds, dragonflies and art.
