Convocation is a celebration of hard work and academic success, and it takes many members of the campus community to bring the events to life. The University’s newest members of the alumni family cross the stage June 13-16 and you are invited to be part of the special occasion. Faculty and staff play an important part in each student’s journey and your participation at convocation is meaningful and appreciated.

Convocation volunteer roles include:

  • handing out name cards and hoods to the graduates as they line up in the West Gym before the ceremony
  • assisting with the flow of graduates and guests through the space
  • greeting guests as they arrive in the Guelph Gryphons Athletic Centre
  • joining the procession to celebrate the students as they cross the stage

To volunteer or join the procession at convocation, please visit the volunteer page of the convocation website.
