The University continues to work toward resolving the ongoing IT systems incident. Your patience is appreciated.

Action Required – Password Reset at Next Log In

As a reminder: to help address this issue, all U of G students, faculty and staff are required to change their central login account (Single Sign-On) password as soon as possible.

If you have not changed your password since Monday, Sept. 12, the central login system will prompt you to change your password the next time you log in. If you changed your password after Sept. 12, you do not have to change it again.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have difficulties changing your password, assistance is available through the CCS Help Centre.

Changing Your Password

To change your password:

  1. Go to the main University website and search “Password Change Tool” in the search bar.
  2. Follow the steps on that page.

Remember: your University password should never be the same as any other password. Use unique passwords for all your online accounts.

Navigating Potential Issues After Password Changes

Should you encounter any issues after changing your password, please refer to the What to do after a password change article on the CCS website. If you continue to experience issues, please contact the IT Help Center at ithelp@uoguelph.ca or 519-824-4120, Ext. 58888.
