Food economist Dr. Mike von Massow commented on the grain export deal between Russia and Ukraine to The National on CBC News. 

“Even if we can’t get back to the original numbers of grain exported, doing anything will be a good thing,” said von Massow.  

A professor in the Department of Food, Agriculture and Resource Economics in the Ontario Agricultural College, von Massow researches retail and restaurant food demand, supply chain management, and value chain structure and performance.
