Former U.S. president Donald Trump has just launched a new social media platform called Truth Social. Marketing professor Dr. Timothy Dewhirst offered his thoughts on the platform’s name and branding in a new commentary for the Toronto Star.
In the column, Dewhirst analyzed the platform’s choice to use the word “truth” in its name and noted the ways in which the platform’s logo, brand and interface resemble those of other social media platforms.
