Getting vaccinated
In Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph (WDG), almost 80 per cent of eligible people have received at least one COVID-19 vaccination and almost 60 per cent are fully vaccinated. This is great news and an important step in keeping us all safe!
U of G students, faculty and staff who live outside the region can register for vaccination with WDG Public Health.
To book a vaccination appointment locally:
- Get your first dose by walking into any WDG Public Health clinic with no appointment.
- Book your second dose appointment using the WDG Public Health booking website. If you have already booked your second dose, you may be able to arrange an earlier appointment.
- Watch WDG Public Health’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts daily for information about drop-in opportunities to get your second dose.
- Students – contact Student Health Services to book a vaccination appointment on campus. Call 519-824-4120 Ext., 52131.
Outside the area:
- Learn about local vaccination clinics on the Government of Ontario’s COVID-19 website.
- You may also be able to arrange vaccination at your doctor’s office or a pharmacy.
