Prof. Ross McKitrick, Economics and Finance, has been named an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute’s Center for the Study of Science.
The Cato Institute is a U.S.-based public policy research organization founded in 1977; its scholars and analysts conduct independent, nonpartisan research on a wide range of policy issues. The Center for the Study of Science was established in 2012.
McKitrick joins four other international scholars who are affiliated with the Center and charged with analyzing scientific data in the areas of energy use and taxation, use of government subsidies, global warming and overall environmental regulation.
