Bargaining teams for the University of Guelph and the University of Guelph Faculty Association (UGFA) – representing approximately 800 faculty, librarians and veterinarians – have been meeting since April 28 to negotiate a new collective agreement. The last agreement expired June 30, 2014.

Talks between the University and UGFA are now moving forward with the assistance of a conciliator on Sept. 10 and 12.

The University is committed to moving toward an agreement that meets our collective needs and that is also based on the financial reality of the University.

Updates regarding negotiations will be posted on this website.
