Human Resources (HR) has launched a new website designed to help the University of Guelph community find the information they need faster.

“This robust new website will help us to build our clients’ capacity to meet the unique human resources challenges they face today and in the future,” says Martha Harley, assistant vice-president (human resources). “Designed with the user in mind, we have organized the website so that staff and faculty, managers, department and college administrators, applicants and retirees can find the specific information and resources they require.”

New features include navigational enhancements, increased interactivity, regularly updated HR news items and an integrated site search.

Harley says staff and faculty will find information on exclusive U of G training programs, support for their ongoing health and well-being, and information on pay, benefits and pension.

A section of the website has been devoted to University managers and supervisors to support them in carrying out their human resource management responsibilities, including managing team and individual performance, supporting employee health and wellness, and applying best-practice hiring, selection and orientation procedures.
