Starting May 13, University employees will have the option of downloading an electronic pay advice instead of receiving the printed version.

“We are excited about this new initiative and contributing to the ongoing sustainability efforts of the University,” says Martha Harley, assistant vice-president (human resources). “Many people have expressed interest in us moving in this direction, so we are expecting that the uptake will be very high.”

If you choose the electronic option, your biweekly pay information will be available through the secure Pay and Pension Link, where you can download a PDF file or print the pay advice directly.

To cancel the printed copy of your pay advice from Human Resources, send an email to mdowling@uoguelph.ca with the subject line “Pay Advice” and indicate that you no longer wish to receive the printed version. Include your employee number.

Alternatively, you can call Marg Dowling at Ext. 56705. She is also the Human Resources contact for comments and questions about the new electronic pay advice.
