Food Scientists Make Headlines on Salmonella, Botulism Outbreaks 

Dr. Lawrence Goodridge, director of the Canadian Research Institute for Food Safety, spoke to Global News about a potential salmonella outbreak linked to pistachios. 

Drs. Jeff Farber and Keith Warriner, in the Department of Food Science, spoke to the National Post about recalling baby formula following an outbreak of botulism in the U.S. 

Warriner also spoke to CBC News about the salmonella outbreak.
