Soprano Maghan McPhee and pianist Carl Philippe Gionet warm-up the crowd for the upcoming “Creative Women at the End of the First World War Conference” (Oct 5-7, 2018).
Songs of the influential Lili Boulanger, who is being celebrated for the centennial of her death and her creation “Clarieres dans le ciel” will be the focus. Her teacher Gabriel Faure and their contemporaries, Ravel, Duparc and the iconic Claude Debussy, also celebrating the centennial of his death, will be featured.
Free event. All are welcome.
