3MT is a university-wide competition for graduate students. Participants present their research, creative activity, and its wider impact in 3 minutes or less in an engaging, accessible, and compelling way using only one slide. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop your public speaking skills and share your research with a broader audience.
For students interested in participating in 3MT competitions, the 2025 college heats and the university-wide 3MT competition will take place between the end of March and mid-April 2025. These details will be shared soon. For more information about 3MT, visit the Office of Graduate Studies website. Our past U of G 3MT Champion has some advice for future 3MT participants.
