June 25 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The event will include teachings about the cultural significance of sweetgrass, guidance on respectful harvesting practices, and hands-on instruction in sweetgrass braiding. Attendees will have the opportunity to take home their own sweetgrass braid or create braids to be donated to the Indigenous Student Centre. Tea and light refreshments will be provided.
Registration is open to all First Nations, Inuit, and Métis-identifying students, staff, and faculty. If space remains available, registration will later be expanded to the broader community.
